MY REVIEW :
PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO
A sure shot RECIPE from the highly experienced Barjatya Movie Kitchen, is dished out this Diwali for all Hungry Salman & Barjatya
Fans...
· * A large Helping of Salman Khan ( Double Dose
this time )
· * A Sweet n Tangy large Spoonful of Sonam Kapoor
· * A well balanced sprinkle of the ever dependable
Anupam Kher
· * A not so well flavoured Tea Spoon of Neil Nitin Mukesh
· * A Bulky chunk of a Grey Shaded Armaan Kohli Slowly cooked in a mind
blowing Rajvaadi Cauldron
· * Extremely well Decorated by Rajvaadi
accessories, costumes, ambience &
MAMMOTH Largesse by Nitin Desai
· * Served in Style with FAMILY QUOTIENT as the
Final Tastemaker by the
effervescent Sooraj Barjatya
And LO BEHOLD...
You have a larger than life PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO... which
truly takes a viewer back in time and displays such splendour of the good old
Rajvaadi Days which is a treat for sore Eyes. It is interesting to note that
Sword Fights & Smart Phones are almost in the same frame.
Prince Vijay Singh ( Salman 1 ) and Prem Dilwala ( Salman 2
) are a complete contrast of each other... Sonam Kapoor, a Princess in her own
right is supposed to be Engaged & Married to the about to be Crowned “
Maharaja Vijay Singh “...
I shall not delve in the Story, which U should see &
enjoy ( though not much of a story ) & since when does one need a story
when U have a SALMAN KHAN on Screen ?
Here we have TWO of them...
I personally see a Film just as I see LIFE... I try to find
out the Best & most Positive aspects out of it & believe u me, there are
many in this DILWALI DIWALI release !
Sooraj has gone
all out, as far as Creating a RAAJ GHARANA & the Raja Maharaja ambience is
concerned... Mind Blowing & beyond imagination SET DESIGN ( the Sheesh
Mahal is worth a dekko ), the Costumes, Accessories & Ambience BUDGET itself could complete
3-4 SMALL BUDGET FILMS...
Salman comes out
with a performance which is ALL HEART and really fills up the screen, fully
complemented by the Beautiful looking Sonam and Her peppy performance. Sonam’s
biggest Film till date and She has truly grabbed this opportunity to prove the
Anil Kapoor DNA.
Armaan‘s chance
of a lifetime ( Thanks to BIG BOSS ) and He also has performed as per the
Director’s expectation.
Neil Mukesh gets
a raw deal, not much of a role for Him, though He does look good for sure. Any
other Actor in His place would also have been wasted.
Himmesh Reshammiya does deserve a mention here... Some good peppy numbers which have already been
Super Hits. SALMAN always pulls Him out of doldrums.
Sooraj has dished out a Peppier n Tangier Family Recipe this time... with some
Action, Fights, Romance, Jealousy, Anger etc. extremely well sprinkled &
this one surely dosent look like a DESTINATION WEDDING with typical Family Rona
Dhona... YET, the Barjatya Message prevails, that...
A FAMILY WHICH STAYS
TOGETHER... WINS TOGETHER !
WELL DONE TEAM “ PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO... !!

ReplyDeletewell written Naushad. Salman Khan is always a pleasure to watch and, as you said, there's a double dose of him this time. Your write up makes a person want to see the movie just to see how the dish, as you so descriptively suggested, looks in real.
ReplyDeletePriti. ..
